Will the output voltage of the electrostatic generator fluctuate under high load or continuous operation? Is there any high voltage attenuation?

Author: BOSTAR Technical Content CenterTechnical Review: BOSTAR Spray Application Engineering GroupPublished: July 10, 2026Updated: July 10, 2026

Scope: General electrostatic spraying adjustment logic. This does not replace equipment-specific manuals.

There will be fluctuations, and there may be voltage drops, but there is no uniform "± how many kV" from the specific model. Labeled 0–100 kV usually represents only the adjustable or rated output range and is not equal to a set value that can be maintained at any load, distance, temperature and continuous operation time. Load pressure drop, current limiting buck or discharge protection may occur during high loads; thermal drift may occur during continuous operation, and abnormal high pressure attenuation may occur due to insufficient heat dissipation, insulation pollution, moisture, cable damage or component aging. The set voltage, actual voltage, output current, temperature, load, alarm and recovery time must be recorded synchronously when judging.
