Grounding is the basic condition for whether electrostatic spraying can stabilize adsorption and safe operation. Poor grounding of workpieces, hangers, conveyor chains, metal parts related to spray rooms and operators may cause problems such as poor powdering or painting, over-spraying, unstable film thickness, abnormal corners and dead corners, high-voltage alarms, ignition, discharge, electric shock, dust or solvent environmental safety risks. Before adjusting the voltage, powder gas, atomization gas or paint supply parameters, the grounding path should be confirmed to be reliable. Fixed qualification values or final safety judgments should not be given until specific equipment models, on-site testing methods, grounding resistance data and applicable standard provisions are provided.
