What are the differences between liquid electrostatic spray guns and powder spray guns? First, consider the coating form, feeding method, and film-forming process.

The biggest difference between a liquid electrostatic spray gun and a powder electrostatic spray gun is not that "one can spray liquid and one can spray powder", but that the entire process chain is different. The liquid electrostatic spray gun is used for solvent-based, aqueous or other liquid coatings, and forms a wet film by relying on the paint supply system, atomization method and electrostatic adsorption, and then forms a coating by leveling, volatilization, baking or curing; the powder electrostatic spray gun is used for thermosetting or thermoplastic powder coatings, and completes powder deposition by relying on bucket fluidization, powder pump transportation, powder charging and workpiece grounding, and then forms a coating by baking and melting, leveling and curing. The two are different in terms of equipment structure, feeding system, spraying parameters, safety requirements, cleaning and maintenance, cost accounting and applicable workpieces, and cannot replace each other or mix core components across models.
