Uniform downtime cannot be given without specific equipment, maintenance items and line architecture. The time required to clean powder, replace seals, clean nozzles, check cup heads or maintain powder pumps can vary widely. What really affects production is not simply the disassembly time, but the total downtime from safe shutdown to pressure relief, power failure, cleaning, disassembly, reset, trial spray, first piece confirmation and re-entry. Severely interfering with the full line beat also depends on whether the device is a single point bottleneck, whether there is a spare gun/spare pump, whether it can be bypassed for maintenance, whether there is a cache before and after the line, and whether the maintenance is arranged in a color change, shift change, or planned shutdown window.
