The electrostatic spray voltage and current cannot be applied according to a fixed set of values. The voltage mainly affects the charging, electrostatic adsorption and deposition efficiency of the coating particles or powder particles; the current reflects the charge transfer, the proximity of the workpiece, the grounding state, the discharge risk and the electrostatic field strength change. During commissioning, first confirm the equipment type, the allowable range of the instructions, the grounding of the workpiece, the powder or coating status, the nozzle/atomization, and the powder/paint supply stability, and then make a single-variable test spray with the representative workpiece. When the plane adsorption is insufficient, the voltage can be gradually increased after the basic conditions are normal; when deep grooves, inner corners, sharp corners, corner powder, reverse ionization, discharge or high-voltage alarms, priority should be given to reducing the voltage or setting the current limit, rather than continuing to increase the output.
