Built-in high-voltage packs and external high-voltage cables do not independently determine the powdering capacity of the Faraday cage area. The actual effect of the deep groove, the inner angle and the cavity depends mainly on the true voltage of the gun end, the current limit, the high-pressure stability when the load changes, the speed of the powder cloud, the nozzle structure, the gun spacing, the grounding of the workpiece and the spraying method. The built-in high-voltage package usually uses a low-voltage cable to boost the pressure inside the gun, which can reduce the long-distance high-voltage cable and its insulation maintenance, but it will increase the weight of the gun body, the heat load inside the gun and the maintenance cost of the gun end module; the external high-voltage generator leaves the boost module in the control cabinet, the gun body may be lighter and the diagnosis in the cabinet is more centralized, but the bending, aging, pollution and replacement costs of the high-voltage cable and its connectors are higher. Correct selection should be determined by comparing deep groove film thickness, powdering stability, operator fatigue, failure rate, maintenance time and spare part cost under the same workpiece, the same powder and the same process conditions.
