For a specific workpiece, how should one choose between a built-in high-voltage gun and an external high-voltage cable gun? What are the differences in maintenance costs?

Scope: General electrostatic spraying adjustment logic. This does not replace equipment-specific manuals.

The two structures are not separated from the unified advantages and disadvantages of the workpiece, automation mode and maintenance conditions. The built-in high-pressure gun arranges the high-pressure booster module inside the gun body, which can generally shorten the high-pressure transmission path, reduce independent high-voltage cables and external high-voltage interfaces, but the gun body may be heavier, the internal structure is more integrated, and it may be necessary to replace the internal components of the gun or stop the whole gun in the event of a high-pressure module failure. The external high-voltage cable gun places the high-voltage generator in the control cabinet or in a separate module, and the gun body is usually lighter for handheld, robot end or small space applications, but high-voltage cables, connectors, bends, wear, pollution and leakage can form additional maintenance points. Final maintenance costs should be calculated based on spare parts, man-hours, downtime, diagnostics, and lifetime data, not just the price of a single high-voltage package or cable.
