Technically, high-speed current, voltage and load condition monitoring can be designed to identify abnormal discharges and quickly step down or turn off high voltages; however, it cannot be directly confirmed that the system has the ability of "micro-discharge detection at the millisecond level" or "inevitably cut off before sparks occur" when no specific controller, sampling frequency, detection algorithm, output stage structure and actual measurement curve are provided. It is necessary to distinguish between: overcurrent protection, micro-discharge identification, arc detection, pre-discharge prediction, output shutdown and residual energy release. Even if the controller quickly issues a shutdown command, there may still be residual charge inside the high-voltage module, double-voltage components, cables and spray guns, so the true safety effect should be based on the total response time and discharge energy test.
