The voltage of the electrostatic spray gun is not as high as possible. When first spraying in a large plane, strong electrostatic conditions may lead to rapid deposition; however, on grooves, inner corners, sharp edges, and returning workpieces, excessive electric field concentration and charge density may cause the outer edge to continue to grab powder, the penetration of the bottom of the groove is poor, and the risk of roughness, numbness, and reverse ionization is increased.
